I use the the app on an iPhone. Entering new lists is rather difficult, because the keyboard for entering words sometime overlaps the line where the word would appear so I cant see what Im actually typing. Import (via copy/paste) of larger lists of words would make the app far more useful.

This app helped me get out of one hell of a writers block. Ive tried so many app and they just did virtually nothing for me. I was skeptical to buy it, as I was just reaching out into shadows before buying it, taking my last chance, but it is worth all that I paid (which isnt much now that I know how great it is!) and then some. I wish I could meet the creator of this app and shake his hand, for saving me.

Indispensable if you are an author, artist, songwriter, story-teller or dreamer... I fell in love with the first spin.

This is the best brainstorming app in the entire App Store!!! It has lots of subjects and categories for all your brainstorming needs!! The only thing it needs is an iPhone 5 support and an iOS 7 look. Please review to keep the updates rolling!!! Great app!!!

Once in a while a really great, fun, useful and completely amazing app comes along. The Brainstormer is exactly that and so much more. The free and extra spin wheels are amazing in themselves. But what really makes the app so much more powerful is the ability to edit wheels and even create new ones from scratch. I cant say enough good things about this app. I would give it 100 stars if I could. So I will just say thank you to its creators. You have given creative people a wonderful tool!

Would like some real-life ideas built into this someday.

I love this! Ive been goofing around with it, and the surprising combinations are really fun to think about! Some have made me laugh with delight, some brought serious thoughts and memories to mind, others suggested quirky, funny ideas. Ill be relying on this when November rolls around, and National Novel Writing Month comes back to the top of the calendar!

I love this app! Im using it already to generate quick ideas for illustrations and short stories--not that I dont have my own ideas mind you, but some of these combos are lol funny. Its addictive to spin the wheel and feel my mind steretch and/or reel. customizable lists makes it well worth the two bucks.

Brilliantly elegant app! Its simple, intuitive and just plain fun to use. If you are ever in need of inspiration for a sketch, story or really anything else that requires creativity then this is the app for you.

Truly kindling for the creative mind! Ive used the Brainstormer now as a story prompt, a concept design prompt, and a problem solving tool in game design. An invaluable creative tool! And great to look at too!

This little app is not only good for a laugh, but it also can get some legitimate ideas brewing. Worth a couple of bucks easy. A few flips of the wheels or go crazy and hit the random button and youre off to the mad mad world of something like a "Fish out of water, vatican-esque, cheerleader" In an update Id love to be able to lock the wheels. At any rate, keep up the good work! Cheers.

We all get artist block. It just happens. It is the bane of our existence but still it rears its ugly head from time to time. This app gets rid of it.......And a very stylish and we presented fasion. Thanks guys for a way to get past the walls that WILL come up! I enjoy and will continue to enjoy using it. :-)

Okay, I just bought this a half hour ago, and Im not the kind of gal who rates every app she downloads, but I feel moved to rate this one already. This app is AMAZING! First of all, its really attractive. But even more important, it generates really cool ideas! I love it!!

Like someone else said, I dont generally rate most apps but this one exactly what I was looking for. Ive spent more on other apps that were much less useful...some of them nearly useless. (esp the one that is listed with different names and the author cant spell) I love this one!

This is such a great idea and a fun app to use, but its still a little rough around the edges. Some of the categories are misspelled, for example. The program allows you to customize the categories to suit your own purposes (which is wonderful), but its not as easy as It should be to set your own customized Brainstormer list as the "default" mode. In other words, I like this app, but with a little more work, itll be awesome, a real resource for writers and artists.

This would be an amazing app if you could import lists. But as it is you have to manually enter lists into the app which is more time consuming than its worth. Until they offer list importing or maybe some sort of list generator this app will remain useless.

Im seriously blown away by this app. I downloaded it last night and I already have a number of spec scripts written up based off what the app generated. Its incredible how simple and effective it is. Not to mention addictive. Some of the combinations that came up were hilarious, leaving me rolling on the floor at their comedic potential. Buy it. Now.

Now this is money well spent! Quality software, customizable, and simple to use!! Kudos!!!

Took a long time to create my own list, but it wont let me use it! Gets buggy and shuts down... No instructions for how ro make a customized list be the default. Such a beautiful app, but it has to work!
